At Tools to Empower is to provide skills and support for success in Trades and STEM fields, fostering community and sustainability. We're committed to inclusivity, ensuring everyone has the tools to thrive.
Tools to Empower originated from a memorable 2022 event with Girl Guides Canada, where young girls engaged in a hands-on activity of building wind chimes. This experience ignited a shared passion among us for encouraging individuals to explore the skilled trades and STEM. Recognizing the positive impact and potential of such initiatives, we decided to formalize our efforts as a non-profit organization. A year later, we united our resources, knowledge, and enthusiasm to establish "Tools to Empower," a non-profit organization in 2023 dedicated to providing opportunities and support for youth to develop practical skills in the skilled trades/STEM and pursue rewarding careers in those fields.
We want to equip as many individuals as possible with hands-on experience while exploring a variety of different opportunities, including those in agriculture. Through our programs and events, we aim to provide practical skills and knowledge that will inspire and empower participants to pursue careers in the skilled trades and agricultural fields.

We started Tools to Empower to introduce people to the world of trades and STEM—showing them various career options and basic tool knowledge. What began as that has evolved into something she is truly passionate about: building safe, sustainable communities to improve people’s quality of life. We achieve this through projects like our community cupboard and our monthly meet-ups.
-I’m really proud of what we’ve accomplished so far and excited about our continued growth as we expand our team!
